How did this all come about?

In November 2018 a conference took place in Enniscorthy about the Sustainable Development Goals. At this event the attendees discussed that it was important that not only government action in relation to the goals was recorded.
The group felt that the work of local communities should be recorded and given recognition for its contribution to achieving the targets set out by the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Following the meeting Billy Murphy, Paul Hickey and Irene Cadogan decided to try find a way to make Enniscorthy a leader in both recording the SDG's at a local level and also promoting the goals within the local community to help raise awareness of how they can make Enniscorthy a living lab, a pilot Sustainable Town.

A small committee was formed to try make this vision a reality, if you would like to get involved please feel free to contact us.
