About Enniscorthy Tidy Towns Group

Enniscorthy Tidy Towns is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the upkeep and enhancement of Enniscorthy and its environment through voluntary effort.
Our goal is to make Enniscorthy a cleaner and greener town to visit, live and work in. We want to reduce litter levels, improve biodiversity, improve sustainability and continue to maintain our Gold Medal in the National Awards.
We cant do this alone so Enniscorthy Tidy Towns group is constantly seeking volunteers to help us achieve our goals!
We meet every Sunday at 09:00 am at the Island Road Carpark (at the bottle bank).
If you have a few hours a month to spare, please contact the page. There is no requirement to attend each week. One of the benefits of volunteering is you volunteer when it suits you.
If you would be more comfortable in looking after your patch, road, street, estate or general area please contact our social media pages or email [email protected] we would be happy to provide bags, gloves and other supplies.

Slaney river walk Biodiversity Action Plan

A Community Biodiversity Action Plan, funded by the Community Foundation Ireland, has been commissioned by the Enniscorthy Tidy Towns Group to determine the current status and challenges faced by biodiversity within the Slaney River Walk and establish possible next steps. The aim of this report is to provide a series of recommendations that can be implemented at varying levels by the community, landowners, council, contractors, and other involved parties, to ensure the protection and promotion of positive biodiversity actions within the area.
